Amelia Briggs began making mirrors in 2019, using reclaimed materials such as wood, latex, fiber, flash, and glass. Visually textural and slightly pliable to the touch, each piece is made entirely by hand in Briggs’ Brooklyn studio and features an anthropomorphic silhouette that asserts its unique presence in the space it inhabits. Her mirrors have been seen in The New York Times, Vogue, Architectural Digest, Domino, Elle Decor, Wallpaper, and Forbes, among others. She is a longtime collaborator of LA-based designer Kelly Wearstler.
