Ajax (grey bag)
$400.00

Named after the blue mineral, the Ajax bag combines bold mineral blue/green with lush botanical hues and scalloped forms that give the piece a bright aquatic feel. A colorful pop of red, only partially revealed, reminds us of all that is unseen in the natural world.

Fiber artist Amelia Briggs, known for her playful inflated forms and vibrant palette, has channeled her distinct aesthetic into wearables with her first series of bags.

Inspired by the free-flowing botanical shapes in her paintings and sculptures, Briggs sourced designer nylon to construct each one-of-a-kind bag, embellishing them with tone-on-tone appliqués, many hand-painted with weather-resistant pigment in abstract designs reminiscent of her studio work.

Amelia Briggs bags are hand-constructed and painted in her Brooklyn, NY studio, ensuring that each piece is absolutely unique.

Gerbera (green bag)
$400.00

Named after the Green Gerbera Daisy symbolic of cheerfulness, innocence, and purity, the Gerbera bag channels the unique green blooms associated with the died perennial. Known in Egypt as a devotion to the sun, bright colors contrast with dark organic shapes to remind us of the power of illumination.
