Buoy brings together six Brooklyn-based artists whose works project playfulness while signifying something larger, hidden beneath the surface. Blending reality with the imagined, each artist uses vibrant hues to create otherworldly atmospheres that suggest a threshold. Referencing landscapes, architecture, plants, and bodily forms, the artists in Buoy carefully reveal only the edges of their worlds, leaving space to enter.
